Hunnefeier — Grape Harvest Festival
Every October, the village of Schengen comes alive with the traditional grape harvest celebration along the Moselle. Wine tastings, local delicacies, over 100 market stalls, live music, and the famous "Schengener Hinnchen."
About the Festival
A Moselle Tradition Since Generations
The Hunnefeier is the annual grape harvest festival organized by the Syndicat d'Initiative Schengen. Held along the scenic banks of the Moselle river, it celebrates the local winemaking heritage with a vibrant mix of culture, gastronomy, and community spirit.
What started as a small village celebration has grown into one of the most beloved autumn festivals in Luxembourg's Moselle region. Every year, thousands of visitors from Luxembourg and the Greater Region gather to enjoy freshly pressed grape juice, award-winning Moselle wines, artisan crafts, street performances, and the warm hospitality of Schengen.

Exhibitor FAQ
Everything you need to know before applying for a stand — conditions, prices, documents and how places are assigned.
Winemakers, food & drink stands, artisans and craft sellers, associations and private flea-market sellers are all welcome — first-timers too. Submitting an application does not guarantee a booth: we confirm each application based on available space and the product mix.
Some stand categories have a flat fee; all others pay per running metre of stand length, with minimum billable lengths depending on your setup (e.g. with car or trailer). The current prices are shown in the table on this page.
You only pay AFTER your application is accepted and you have received the invoice — never pay before.
Photos of your stand or products are always part of the application. Which of the other documents apply depends on your stand — the checklist above tells you exactly.
There are no pre-reserved spots. The organizing team assigns all booth numbers after payment, about 1–2 weeks before the festival, based on available space, safety and a good product mix.
You can write placement wishes in the comment field of your application, and we consider previous-year placements where possible — but neither can be guaranteed. You receive your booth number and location by email, and it appears on the festival map.
Registration is online and takes about 10 minutes — your draft is saved automatically on your device. After submitting: we review your application, you receive an invoice on acceptance, you pay by the deadline, and your booth number follows before the festival.
